Top Tips for MTYBA's Pupillage Applicants
A panel of esteemed practitioners shared their top tips for success with pupillage applications to a packed room of hopeful applicants at Middle Temple.
Zoe O'Sullivan QC, Juliette Levy, Louise McCullough, Georgina Wolfe and Simao Paxi-Cato answered questions from the floor which included "What resources should I use to research the work that Chambers actually does?" and "Should I reference explicitly members of Chambers I've met/seen in court/worked with?" Following some Q and A, applicants were encouraged to have some one-to-one conversations with the panellists and ask them to cast an eye over their draft applications.
The event forms the first part of MTYBA's "Pupillage Application Programme" which includes a mock interview session in May, and an interview advocacy workshop in June. Stay tuned for further details of these opportunities.
